A Legacy of Transformation Continues: Seeds from our IDP Women’s Retreat Bear Fruit

Description automatically generated The ripples of transformation from last summer’s IDP Women and Children Retreat continue to spread through our community. Recently, Marina gathered the dedicated women leaders who helped shepherd that powerful event held by the Transform Uzhhorod Alliance where dozens of women began their journey with Christ. Over a warm breakfast of fellowship and thanksgiving, these servants’ hearts turned toward the future, joining in prayer for the upcoming Summer 2025 retreat.

God’s faithful provision has already become evident, as we gratefully announce that a family foundation has stepped forward with a generous grant that will largely fund next year’s gathering. This beautiful answer to prayer will help us continue reaching displaced women and children with Christ’s love and hope.

Description automatically generated The spirit of discipleship sparked at the retreat continues to kindle new connections. Olga Didychyna, one of our passionate leaders from Church of the Living God (a Transform Uzhhorod Alliance member), felt called to extend the bonds of fellowship by hosting a Christmas celebration for the six women from her church who attended the retreat. These organic gatherings represent exactly the kind of lasting relationships and ongoing spiritual nurture we pray will multiply from these ministry efforts.

We look forward to sharing more stories of how God is working through these relationships and future retreats. If you’d like to learn more about how lives were changed at last summer’s retreat, follow this link.

Praise Points:

  • Continued fellowship and leadership development among retreat leaders
  • God’s provision through the family foundation grant
  • Growing discipleship relationships among participants

Please join us in praying for the planning of the 2025 retreat and for the ongoing ministry to IDP women and children in our community.
