“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” – Psalm 133:1
The August heat couldn’t dampen the fire burning in the hearts of the Transform Uzhhorod Alliance. While much of Europe traditionally slows down during this month, something extraordinary was happening in Uzhhorod that afternoon—something too important to postpone, too powerful to pause.

Around tables filled with food and fellowship, representatives from the Alliance came together for what became so much more than a meeting. It was a lunch celebration of what Christ is accomplishing when His people unite with one heart and one mission.
Marina’s vision is becoming reality before our eyes.
What started as a dream—12 churches and 14 NGOs joining hands to ensure no one in Uzhhorod remains invisible—has become a living, breathing movement of hope. As each Alliance member shared their testimonies that afternoon, graciously hosted by Church of the Living God, the room filled with stories of lives transformed, families restored, and communities renewed.
Rroma pastors celebrating how their communities are embracing moral principles of marriage at unprecedented rates, strengthening families from within.
Church leaders witnessing a sudden surge in baptisms as IDP families fleeing war find not just refuge in our city, but spiritual renewal.
Progress reports on the special needs group home for orphans taking shape, and four new homes rising in the Velyki Lazy IDP Community.
This is the fruit of partnership. This is the power of the Gospel lived out in unity.
When we launched the Alliance around our three pillars—food for physical needs, freedom for social restoration, and forgiveness through Christ—we prayed that God would multiply our individual efforts. He has answered beyond what we dared imagine.
Even in August, when attendance typically drops across Europe, more than half of our Alliance members considered this gathering a priority. They came because they’ve witnessed something profound: when the body of Christ works together, the impossible becomes inevitable.
You are part of this transformation.
Every prayer you’ve whispered for Uzhhorod, every financial gift you’ve sent, every moment you’ve interceded for Marina and this ministry—it was all represented in that room. Your partnership has helped create a network where an impoverished pensioner can receive food supplements at one Alliance church, job training through an NGO partner, and an IDP can find Jesus at one of our centers, all while being surrounded by people who see her as Christ does: beloved, valuable, and full of potential.
The vision remains as clear as ever: to transform Uzhhorod through the power of Christ. But what moves our hearts most is watching this vision unfold not through programs or strategies, but through relationships—real people loving real people with the real love of Jesus.
As we left Church of the Living God that afternoon, the Ukrainian sky bright with summer sunshine, we couldn’t help but feel we had witnessed something sacred. Not just an Alliance meeting, but a glimpse of the Kingdom of Heaven—where every tribe and tongue and people group comes together in worship and service to the One who makes all things new.
The harvest is plentiful in Uzhhorod. The workers are multiplying. And Christ is getting all the glory.
Thank you for standing with us in this incredible journey. Your faithful support doesn’t just fund a ministry—it fuels a movement that’s writing eternity into the story of this beautiful city.
Every gift matters. Every prayer counts. Every person is seen.
This is what transformation looks like when Jesus leads the way.
