Church of the Living God, a member of our Transform Uzhhorod Alliance and a partner within the UkraineCollective, has started a weekly worship service with IDP families, some of whom have never attended church. Leading worship is Marina Masuk. She and her husband Alex lead Youth Of God Salvation Church in Kyiv, but escaped to Uzhhorod during the bombing of the capital. Alex has joined the Ukraine Armed Services while Marina serves the IDP community in Uzhhorod, of which she is a part, and also returns to Kyiv on the weekend as her church there has come back together. Youth Of God Salvation Church is also part of our Sister Church Association where churches outside of Ukraine come alongside churches who are struggling financially in Ukraine. Christ Church of Lake Forest (Illinois) has come alongside their church. Currently seven Ukrainian churches are in the Sister Church Association, with another four being added this week.
