Illia came to one of our centers for IDPs with her daughter after bombs began to drop on her city of Kyiv. She began attending one of our partner churches, Church of the Living God, and became a follower of Jesus on July 3. She unexpectedly went home to Jesus just four days later. We held a memorial service with her in our Connections Cafe with all of her new friends.
