Calvary Chapel Mission Viejo (California) became the first church to adopt two Ukrainian Sister Churches. Pastor Brian Dagen shared how he was a missionary in the Czech Republic and looks forward to building relationships with two Ukrainian Slavic cousins. Pastor Vova Bilik is the pastor of Spring of Life Church in Lviv, Ukraine. His church emptied their five years of savings to build a new church in order to serve the thousands of displaced Ukrainians that came through their city because of the Russian invasion. About a third of his church members also left as refugees to Europe or to fight in the war creating a financial burden. Pastor Rostik Krimus is the pastor of the Rroma Church of the Living God in Velyki Bereznyi, Ukraine. The Rroma are already an impoverished people in Ukraine, but they opened up their homes to care for displaced people as well. They had just bought a building for their church and were in the midst of fixing it up when war hit and they had to shift their priorities as well to serve their fellow countrymen.
