Svoboda Church (Apostolove) has seen much destruction in their own city, but still found time to serve twenty children who had lived under Russian occupation with a special Christmas program thanks to the assistance they received from their Sister Church – Community Fellowship (West Chicago, Illinois). The children were told the wonderful story of the birth of Jesus, the Son of God. They also took part in games and received tasty treats as they took a mental rest from the war around them. Many of the children and parents sent thank-you texts after the celebration.
