The Russian invasion of Ukraine has created hardships for the Church of Jesus in Ukraine, which is why we started the Sister Church Association matching Sister Churches in the West with Ukrainian churches. The Jewish Evangelical Church of Beit Simcha (Chernivtsi) is unique in this project as they do not have a Sister Church, but are funded by many individual donors who wanted to help but their church was not able to become a Sister Church. The many individual donors added up to enough funds to provide six-months of support to Beit Simcha and allow them to continue their ministries such as providing a hot drink and the love of Jesus on a cold winter day.
