June 30 – Providing Eyeglasses to Victims of War

The Ukraine Collective brought back Clay Schwab for his second trip to provide eyeglasses for Ukrainian victims of war. His trip was hosted by Transform Uzhhorod Alliance member Hope and Life Ukraine. Three weeks of the trip was planned by One Collective connecting Clay with Svaboda Church (Apostolove) which is in the Sister Church Association. They set up clinics for Clay in cities ravaged by the war such as Apostolove, Nova Sich, Novogrigorivske, Potomkine, Kriviy Rih, Nikopol, and Oleksandriya. They also visited cities that had been occupied by Russian troops but now liberated such as Topoline and Novovorontsovka. In one clinic Clay served, it was blown up the next day by Russian missiles.  Clay visited Kakhovka Dam the day before it was blown up and then returned to see the devastating result.  The last week they visited other front line cities on a trip with New Creation Church (Uzhhorod). Clay distributed around 850 eyeglasses on this trip.
