The Transform Uzhhorod Alliance, through its eleven Ukraine Collective partners, have connected 19 Ukrainian churches during these last two difficult years with twelve American churches, two European churches, two businessmen, and several one time donors. Currently thirteen Ukrainian churches are still being supported through this project. The purpose of the Sister Church Association is to guarantee a salary for a pastor whose church can no longer afford to pay in order for that pastor to continue focusing on his/her church and the growing number of war victims in their communities.
One of those American churches is Calvary Chapel Mission Viejo, who actually has come alongside two Ukrainian Churches – Church of the Living God (Velykyi Bereznyi) and Spring of Life Church (Lviv). They are the fifth Sister Church to send a team to Ukraine. They came alongside Church of the Living God to hold a summer camp for the Rroma children of Velykyi Bereznyi.
