Marina Masiuk, and her husband Sasha, are pastors at Youth of God Salvation Church (Kyiv) who came to Uzhhorod in the first days of the war as IDPs as they led their church from afar. It was extremely dangerous for evangelical pastors under Russian occupation and Russian forces were moving on Kyiv. Sasha was conscripted into the army but fortunately assigned to defending infrastructure against saboteurs near Uzhhorod. They both served in Church of the Living God (Uzhhorod), which is a member of the Transform Uzhhorod Alliance. Sasha would often preach and Marina led a worship band of youth and children. Marina also worked with Nehemiah, another member of the Alliance, assisting with their work with IDPs. She continues to mentor IDPs in Conections Cafe, the ministry center of One Collective, yet another Alliance member. Here she is with a group of IDP women.
