Summary of the Events
The RF operational pause has ended. RF attacked all along the Donbas line but were repelled in every instance. UAF continues to batter RF command centers and weapon depots with US HIMARS systems.
Battle for the Donbas (Donetsk and Luhansk)
Seven civilians were killed and 14 injured during RF attacks on Friday.
Target Siversk – It is apparent that the Russian claim they had taken Siversk last week was a lie to appease the domestic audience back home. RF forces shelled Siversk along with Zakitne, Hryhorivka, Tetianivka, Donetske, and Raihorodok while they attacked the area around Spirne and Ivanov-Darivka. UAF repelled the entire operation.
Target Bakhmut – RF conducted an unsuccessful assault on UAF defenses to the west of the Vuhlehirsk Reservoir in the Dolomitne-Novoluhanske-Semyhiria triangle. They also resumed their fighting for the Vuhlehirsk Thermal Power Plant which continued throughout the day.
Target Kramatorsk/Slovyansk – RF conducted an airstrike against UAF defenders in Bohorodychne while shelling eight other communities in the area. The entire operation was repelled.
Expansion from Donetsk – RF attempted an assault all along the Avdiivka – Zaporizhia line without success.
Battle for Kharkiv
RF fired artillery at seven communities north of Kharkiv and conducted an airstrike against Mospanove to keep UAF forces from advancing in the region.
RF launched several rockets against an apartment building in Chuhuiv killing three civilians.
Battle for Kherson
Over Friday night, UAF conducted several strikes against RF positions killing around 50 Russian soldiers and destroying eight howitzers and a tank. UAF performed some cleanup operations around Potomkyne and struck two RF position around Novohryhorivka and Davydiv Brid.
RF shelled Zelenodolsk and Apostolove destroying homes. There were no casualties.
Other Regions
Odesa – A warehouse in Odesa was hit by rockets. It took six hours to put out the flames. One person suffered head injuries.
Poltava – A Russian missile was shot down over Kremenchuk. There was no damage.
Sumy – RF fired mortars and artillery against four areas in the Sumy Region resulting in the death of one person.
Vinnytsia – The death toll of a RF missile strike on a shopping mall in Vinnytsia has risen to 24 after a woman died in the hospital from her burn wounds.
Zaporizhia – RF are using the nuclear power plant at Enerhodar they had captured from Ukraine in the early days of the invasion to store their missile systems and artillery they are using to attack UAF on the other side of the Dnipro River. Ukraine is not able to attack those systems without risking the worse nuclear disaster the world has ever known. From the nuclear power plant RF opend fire on residential neighborhoods of Nikopol on the other side of the river with MLRS. Twelve five-story apartment buildings, a school, and a technical college were damaged. At least two people were killed as rescuers continue to search for survivors under the rubble.
Other News
British humanitarian aid volunteer Paul Urey, who had been captured by RF, died in detention from lack of medicine for his diabetes. Russia claims he was fighting for Ukraine. British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss says Russia bears full responsibility over his death.
