Summary of the Events
Russia launched a massive missile strike on Southern Ukraine from ships in the Black Sea. UAF hit six RF strongholds and a Command and Observation station.
Battle for the Donbas
UAF repelled all attacks in the Donbas region.
Battle for Kharkiv
RF conducted strikes throughout the region including another attack on Chuhuiv where people are still trapped under the rubble of the House of Culture hit the day before. A car dealership and hospital were damaged in today’s strikes. There were no casualties.
Battle for Kherson
UAF conducted seven airstrikes in the region against six RF strongholds and a command and observation post near Beryslav. 48 Russian soldiers died in the attacks. Equipment destroyed included four tanks, a howitzer, an artillery system, and six vehicles.
Other Regions
Chernihiv – RF conducted at least 25 strikes on two border communities in the region. No information on casualties has been given.
Dnipropetrovsk – RF conducted strikes against several communities in the region including Nikopol which has been under constant daily attack.
Mykolaiv – Russia launched a massive missile strike on Southern Ukraine in response to UAF gains in Kherson. The port infrastructure of Mykolaiv, as well as a residential community, was attacked. A local car market was damaged. No casualty reports given yet.
Odesa – Coastal communities in the Odesa region were also hit during the massive missile strike. Several homes were destroyed but only one person was injured. The bridge in Zatoka, used to bring supplies into Ukraine from Europe, was hit again as well.
Sumy – 24 artillery and mortar strikes were made against five border communities in the Sumy region.
International Support
The European Investment Bank, with the support of the EU, has approved funding for Ukraine in the amount of €1.59 billion ($1.61 billion).
The UK announced a new slew of sanctions on Russia government leaders and leaders of the rebel breakaway regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.
