Summary of the Events

RF captured Krasna Hora and are now moving on Paraskoviivka just north of Bakhmut.

Eastern Ukraine: (Russia’s Main Objective)

Kupyansk – RS claim that RF advanced three miles towards Kupyansk. Both sides are fighting for control over Hrianykivka.

Kreminna – RF are concentrating on pushing UAF back from Kreminna and moving towards Lyman which they hope to recapture. The UGS claims to be repelling all attacks.

Donetsk Oblast: (Russia’s Second Objective)

Bakhmut – RS claim that RF captured Krasna Hora on Sunday which is confirmed by video footage. RF have now moved against Paraskoviivka, but UAF have maintained control of the settlement. RF have not encircled Bakhmut yet.

Avdiivka/Marinka – RF attacked Pervomaiskyi, Marinka, and Pobieda on Sunday but no attacks were confirmed for Monday. UAF repelled all attacks.

Vuhledar – RF continue to lose large number of troops in their assaults against UAF. Over the last week, RF have lost a mean average of 824 soldiers a day, the highest since the last two weeks of the renewed invasion. The Donetsk Army Commander was killed by rocket fire on Monday. A video of Russian tanks hitting mines was released on Sunday. But Russia keeps sending more and more troops against Vuhledar.

Southern Ukraine: (Eastern Kherson, Southern Zaporizhia, and Western Donetsk)

Although RF are mostly building defenses in the region preparing for a Ukrainian counter-offensive, RF did launch an unsuccessful assault against UAF positions near Zaliznychne on Monday.

Over the last two days, RF have not fired upon Kherson or Mykolaiv oblasts. But UAF continued to fire upon RF on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River and destroyed a Russian observation post on the Nova Kakhovka Dam.

Russian Mobilization and Troop Morale

Ukrainian intelligence reported on Sunday that Russia has postponed a second wave of mobilization as they are still experiencing problems from the first wave.

Wagner Group mercenaries are reporting heavy losses. One soldier claimed that 60 of the 90 personnel in his unit were killed trying to take Bilohorivka. Wagner commanders continue to threaten to kill any retreating soldier and have refused to evacuate wounded personnel from the battlefield.

Russian soldiers are refusing to fight under Donetsk commanders and the R-MoD has responded by removing them from the frontlines.

Life in Occupied Ukraine

Russian occupation officials continue to nationalize property in the occupied territories and distribute it to friends. A Chechen friend of Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov has taken ownership of the Steel Works in Mariupol and has opened up a Russian chain of restaurants in appropriated storefronts.

Other News

Despite the sanctions imposed on them, Russia’s economy continues to grow. China has bailed them out by purchasing all sanctioned items and Iran is supplying them with weapons. Iran is reportedly smuggling in long-range drones now which we will soon be seeing employed on the battlefield.

The Wagner Group released a video of a graphic execution by sledgehammer against one of their soldiers who defected to Ukraine and posted a pro-Ukrainian video, and then was recaptured by RF. Of course, even the U.S. has a death penalty for such betrayal, but we do not beat them over the head with a sledgehammer.

International Support

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the executives of JP Morgan, he largest bank in the world, to discuss he creation of a platform to raise funds for Ukraine.
