- Russia 1 – Russian forces continued their offensive and claimed to have captured Novoyehorivka, but there is no confirmation of that happening. It was confirmed that Russian forces have crossed the Zherebets River.
- Ukraine 1 – Ukrainian forces have reached the northwest outskirts of Kurdyumivka (8 miles SW of Bakhmut) which is now contested. Bad weather prevented any other advances in the region.
- Ukraine 2 – Ukrainian forces have nearly reached the northern outskirts of Priyutne (10 miles SW of Velyka Novosilka).

Russia conducted a missile attack on Dnipro hitting a residential building and the offices of the Ukrainian Security Services. Nine people were injured in the attack on the apartment building.
Ukraine fired Storm missiles at the Chonhar Bridge between Crimea and Kherson region. Locals reported seeing explosions but whether the bridge is still intact is not known. Ukrainian partisans also blew up an ammunition depot in Kozacha Bay near Sevastopol.
President Zelensky visited with the troops attacking in the Bakhmut region to congratulate them on their progress.
Ukraine has captured and begun using grad rockets made in North Korea as evidence the country is supplying weapons to Russia.
Russia claimed to have shot down two missiles over the Russian city of Taganrog and the falling debris injured 16 people.
The arrest of former Donetsk rebel leader Igor Girkin has spooked most of the Russian milbloggers into self-censorship and they are all toeing the information line of the Kremlin by reporting that the Ukrainian counteroffensive is a failure. There is hardly any voice out there critical of the Russian military.
German Rheinmetall announced they will open a tank repair center in Ukraine to repair tanks closer to the front lines by late summer. Russia threatened to target any German plants erected within Ukraine.
