We’re thrilled to share the latest developments in the Velyki Lazy IDP Community project with you, our partners. It’s a season of new beginnings and heartfelt joy as we witness the fruits of our collective efforts coming to life.
On Lot 2, the sense of community is already sprouting as two homes have been lovingly completed. We’re filled with excitement as the families begin the process of moving in, transforming these houses into warm, lively homes. Another home is on the brink of completion, with finishing touches planned for the period following Easter – a symbolic time for a fresh start.
Meanwhile, Lot 1 is buzzing with activity and promise. The One Community Church building stands proudly completed, ready to become a spiritual and social hub for the residents. The solid foundations for four additional homes have been laid, setting the stage for a bustling construction phase post-Easter.
We’re also pleased to report that the crucial infrastructure for Lot 1 – the septic system, water well, and electricity – is now successfully installed. These facilities are the backbone of a thriving community, and their completion marks a significant milestone in our journey.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build not just homes, but a community where hope and resilience flourish. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this vision a reality. Your support and faith in this project bring warmth to our hearts and the hearts of those who will call Velyki Lazy home.
