Christ’s Great Commission calls us to “make disciples, not converts” (Matthew 28:18-20). As your ministry partners on the ground, we have the privilege of sharing the Gospel and walking alongside new believers, while the Holy Spirit does His transformative work in hearts. The Lord’s instruction is clear: we make disciples by teaching obedience to His commands—not merely head knowledge, but heart transformation that leads to Christ-like living.
Your partnership is helping establish something that cannot happen from pulpits alone or in traditional small group settings. Together, we are cultivating a discipleship culture by equipping Ukrainian church leaders to train their own people in the art of discipling others—teaching them how to guide fellow believers into lives of obedience to Christ.
One powerful example of God’s work through your investment is Igor Minenko, director of RD Ministries, a youth ministry coaching organization and founding member of our Transform Uzhhorod Alliance. Igor was among the first to participate in what we call a Discipleship Huddle, and God has multiplied his impact—he now leads three Huddles himself, one for the leadership team of Church of the Living God, a second for pastors from many churches, and yet another for youth leaders.
Recently, I had the joy of joining an online Huddle with church leaders from our Ukrainian partner church, the Church of the Living God in Uzhhorod. Seeing these leaders catch the vision and begin multiplying disciples is a testament to how God is using your faithful support to expand His kingdom.
