At the heart of Uzhhorod’s transformation lies a powerful story of resilience and faith. The Transform Uzhhorod Alliance is dedicated to building not just houses, but homes for 18 Ukrainian families who have been displaced by the ongoing conflict with Russia. This mission, driven by compassion and the glory of God, stands as a beacon of hope during these challenging times.
However, behind the scenes, there are crucial needs that must be met to ensure the well-being of these families. We are currently focused on constructing four essential septic systems in the Velyki Lazy IDP Community. These systems are not just about sanitation—they are about dignity, health, and the sustainability of the community we are nurturing together.
One septic system has been completed, marking the first milestone in our journey. Our dedicated team, alongside our Sister Alliance in Apostolove, has already commenced work on the second system. This system is not just a necessity; it will also serve our church plant, One Community, fostering a space for spiritual growth and unity.
We are filled with gratitude as we have reached 45% of the funding needed for this next phase. Yet, there is more to be done, and we invite you to be a part of this transformative project.
