Nearly twenty years ago, Marina and I felt the unmistakable calling of the Holy Spirit to leave our life in Kyiv and move to Uzhhorod, Ukraine. At the time, we had no clear understanding of why—only the divine directive to go. But Jesus, in His perfect wisdom, knew exactly what He was preparing us for. Today we can see His beautiful plan with crystal clarity: He positioned us here to bring people together and serve the oppressed throughout our region. Your faithful prayers have been the foundation upon which God has built this ministry, and we give Him all the glory for every step of this journey.
When we sold our home in Kyiv, the Lord provided the resources we needed to invest in real estate within these stunning Carpathian Mountains. Several years ago, the Holy Spirit stirred our hearts once again, prompting us to sell most of that investment and build homes in the mountains of Huta. What seemed like another leap of faith has become one of Jesus’s most beautiful provisions for His kingdom work.
These mountain homes now serve as sanctuaries of rest for weary missionaries who desperately need renewal in these breathtaking surroundings, and they provide housing for the short-term ministry teams that God continues to send our way. Through your unwavering prayers and support, Christ has created something far beyond what we could have imagined when we first stepped out in obedience all those years ago.
