We are thrilled to share the latest progress on our church plant in Velyki Lazy, a village located 5.25 miles (8.5 km) north of Uzhhorod, the administrative center of Zakarpattia Oblast. This initiative is a partnership between One Collective and New Hope Evangelical Church, both members of the Transform Uzhhorod Alliance.

The village of Velyki Lazy, with its 1,426 residents, along with eight surrounding villages that total another 10,000 people, still lacks evangelical churches. This church plant aims to fill that gap and serve these nine communities.

We received enthusiastic support and were offered the use of the local elementary/high school facilities for our initial outreach programs, which will focus on children and youth starting in early Fall this year.

While the church building’s structure is complete, interior work is ongoing. We are currently installing insulation, but additional funding is required to continue. We need to raise approximately $100,000 to complete the building.

We invite you to join us in prayer and support for this endeavor. Your contributions are crucial to creating a place of worship and community for the people of Velyki Lazy and the surrounding villages.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in this mission. Together, we are making a significant impact in this region.
