A New Chapter in Ukraine’s Harvest
Something remarkable is unfolding in the Carpathian foothills of western Ukraine, and you are part of it.
Through your prayers and faithful partnership, God is opening doors in places where the Gospel has never taken root. In the unreached village of Velyki Lazy (pronounced Vel-ih-kee Lah-zee) and twelve surrounding communities, the Lord is preparing hearts for a spiritual awakening.
Planting Seeds Through Relationship
Your support has enabled us to come alongside our brothers and sisters at New Hope Evangelical Church as they obey Christ’s Great Commission in this spiritually dark region. Over the summer months, the church planting team invested deeply in building authentic relationships, holding week-long day camps in village after village.
The response was beyond anything we could have orchestrated—over 650 children attended these camps. Six hundred fifty eternal souls hearing about Jesus, many for the first time. This is the fruit of your intercession and generosity.
A Church Taking Shape
What began as summer outreach has blossomed into something the Holy Spirit is clearly orchestrating:
- September marked the official launch of One Community Church, with the first monthly parent meetings and youth gatherings
- October brought the start of weekly children’s clubs—consistent, ongoing discipleship where seeds planted in summer can now take root
- January will see the launch of home groups, creating intimate spaces for believers to grow and seekers to encounter Christ

In early September, the New Hope church planting team gathered to lift these plans before the Father. They prayed for wisdom, for open hearts, for protection, and for God’s kingdom to advance in Velyki Lazy and beyond.
Your Part in God’s Story

- Parents encountering the living God at monthly gatherings
- Youth discovering their identity in Christ
- Children being discipled week after week
- Home groups becoming beacons of light in spiritually dark villages
- The church planting team to have supernatural wisdom, energy, and unity
