Summary of the Events
RF forces came to a near total halt across the front lines on Wednesday, but artillery fire continued unabated. UAF destroyed several command posts and weapons depots.
Belarus
A Belarusian border guard escaped into Ukraine to join the UAF in their fight against Russia.
Battle for the Donbas (Donetsk and Luhansk)
Target Bakhmut – The number of dead in the bombing of a residential building in Chasiv Yar has risen to 48.
Battle for Kherson
UAF forces captured a secret torture chamber where five Ukrainian soldiers were being held ransom as relatives were being blackmailed to end the torture.
UAF conducted a guided rocket attack on a RF strategic command post at Chornobaivka Airport in the suburbs of Kherson. Twelve Russian officers and a general were reportedly killed in the attack. The position of the officers was determined by an intercepted phone call. Russia only admits to five officers being killed.
Two more RF weapon depots were destroyed in the Kherson region. Thirty Russian soldiers were killed. In addition to destroying all the weapons, also destroyed were a howitzer, an Uragan missile launcher, and four armored vehicles.
Other Regions
Dnipropetrovsk – RF fired MLRS at the outskirts of Nikopol. There were no casualties.
Luhansk – UAF destroyed a ammunition depot in the occupied city of Luhansk late on Tuesday night. The attack knocked out air defense system.
Mykolaiv – RF launched 28 MLRS attacks throughout the Mykolaiv region killing five civilians.
Sumy – RF fired a barrage of 58 attacks on settlements along the border in Sumy. There were no injuries but at least one home was destroyed.
Zaporizhia – RF attempted a limited assault on the villages of Dovhenke and Dolyna but were repelled with losses. Two cruised missiles hit the city of Zaporizhia at lunchtime hitting at least one business. Later cluster bombs fell over farmland destroying 600 hectares of grain. Twelve people were injured during the attacks.

More and more Russian officials in occupied cities are becoming targets of assassination.
North Korea officially recognized the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Ukraine broke off diplomatic relations with North Korea in response.
International Support
Lithuania pledged another €10 million for rebuilding Ukraine.
