UAF – Ukrainian Forces
RF – Russian Forces
MLRS – Multiple Launch Rocket Systems
Summary of the Events
Russia sent a barrage of missiles throughout Eastern, Southern, and Central Ukraine, including the capital of Kyiv, as their gift on Ukrainian Statehood Day. All RF assaults were repelled. UAF destroyed another weapons depot and is reportedly making progress in liberating the Kherson region with RF now cutoff from the rest of the occupied regions.
Battle for the Donbas
Target Bakhmut – RF have changed their priority of taking Siversk to taking Bakhmut as recent gains have given them momentum in that area. RF forces are hitting hard from the south where they just took Novoluhanske and the Vuhlehirsk Power Plant.
RF shelled Bakhmut damaging six apartment buildings and six private homes. Three people were killed and another three injured.
Battle for Kharkiv
Shortly after midnight, RF fired two missile attacks on Kharkiv hitting the center and the outskirts of the city. No casualties have been reported.
For the third day in a row, the southern city of Chuhuiv was attacked. Several residential buildings were damaged.
Battle for Kherson
UAF destroyed a RF weapons depot at Chornobaivka, a suburb of Kherson. 66 Russian soldiers were killed in the attack. Weapons destroyed included three tanks, three counter-mine equipment, three howitzers, a mortar system, a drone, and three vehicles.
British Intelligence reported on the gains UAF are making in Kherson region. All three bridges over the Dnipro River are damaged, and the most important to the city of Kherson is unusable. This traps thousands of RF on the west bank of the Dnipro unable to receive supplies, or retreat for that matter. The city of Kherson is completely cut off from the other occupied territories. And UAF have firmly established a bridgehead over the Inhulets River allowing them to supply their troops that are moving deeper and deeper into liberating Kherson region.
There is also a very strong partisan resistance movement in the Kherson region, especially in the city of Kherson. On Wednesday a collaborator was assassinated in a car bombing. They have also managed to steal maps that show Russian military concentrations as well as cipher codes of the RF.
Ukraine issued the third warning to RF to safely retreat from the Kherson region now or face annihilation.
