Russian forces conducted offensive operations in the sector but did not make any confirmed advances. Russian forces claimed to have made some limited advances in the Serebryanske Forest (4 miles SW of Kreminna).
Russia 3 – Avdiivka/Marinka Line (Outskirts of Occupied Donetsk City)
Russian forces conducted 22 offensive operations around Avdiivka, and 18 around Marinka, but made no confirmed advances. Russia claimed to have taken five buildings in the industrial southeastern outskirts of Avdiivka.
Ukrainian forces conducted a counterattack near Stepove but the result is not known.
Ukraine 1 – Liberate Bakhmut

Ukraine 4 – Liberate Eastern Kherson
Ukrainian forces conducted offensive operations along the east bank of the Dnipro River but made no confirmed or claimed advances.
Ukraine fired HIMARS against Russian troops in occupied Kumachove, Donetsk Oblast killing 25 soldiers and injuring another 100.
Russia launched another series of missiles and drones against Ukraine overnight. All 14 drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems and one of the two missiles. The one missile that was not shot down landed in an unpopulated area.
Russia has been using glide bombs provided by Iran as their most destructive force against Ukraine. And now Iran is preparing to provide ballistic missiles to Russia. While the West is providing less assistance to Ukraine, the enemies of the West are providing more weapons to Russia.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European Council President Charles Michel in Kyiv on the tenth anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity on Maidan to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for Ukrainian freedom from Russia.
Four Russian police officers were poisoned after taking food from a restaurant to go and were rushed to the ICU in occupied Melitopol where three of them died. It was determined they were fed arsenic and rat poison. The restaurant was searched, and no such substance was found, but the couriers have disappeared.
Russia forcibly deported teenagers with disabilities from occupied Kherson Oblast to a rehabilitation center in Russia.
