Meet Clay Schwab, a cattle rancher hailing from Oklahoma, whose heart beats for mission work across the globe. His journey began with ventures like running a construction company that erected ministry sites worldwide. However, it was a serendipitous encounter during one of these trips that ignited a passion within him.

Description automatically generated While filling a vacant role on a mission trip, Clay found himself providing eyeglasses to those in impoverished communities. The experience resonated deeply with him, leading him to immerse himself in the craft, teaching himself the intricacies of prescription-taking. Since then, he has traversed the globe, bringing clarity to the vision of the oppressed.

Recently, Clay embarked on his third journey to Ukraine, facilitated by Transform Uzhhorod Alliance members, Hope and Life Ukraine. For the second time, he found himself in Eastern Ukraine, collaborating with Transform Apostolove Alliance member, Svaboda Church. Over the span of a month, Clay’s mission took him to the frontlines of Ukraine’s conflict, where he distributed thousands of glasses to those affected by the ravages of war.
